Q2 Financial Snapshot

Q2 Financial Snapshot

With thankful hearts we can report that Redeemer remains in good financial shape halfway through 2022. YTD expenses are above budget by approximately 2% (principally due to their timing) and giving exceeds projections by about 10%. While the Vestry approved a deficit budget for the year, that deficit now projects to be at least cut in half, per current figures. Our $200,000 in savings remain intact.

Thanks be to God, benevolence and missions giving has been outstanding, providing direct assistance for several in need, and meal gift cards for families with new arrivals. We were also able to significantly help resource Emily Scheie’s mission in Mexico. She left fully funded for her work with some additional money for personal expenses (health insurance, travel, etc.).

If you would like more detail about our budget—or about how you can financially participate in our shared vision “To proclaim and promote the Gospel; giving ever more time, talent, and treasure to seeking the flourishing of our neighbors.”—email our Treasurer, Jim Evans (jameshevans8@gmail.com).

Fifth Sunday Potluck
