About our Worship

A typical Sunday worship service at Redeemer Anglican Church includes:

  • Singing together.

  • Hearing passages from the Bible read out loud.

  • A sermon explaining what we heard read.

  • Prayers we say together in unison.

  • Sharing Holy Communion.

Our services are structured by the Book of Common Prayer (2019). Everything you’ll need to join in is printed in a weekly bulletin.

Vestments

Those who are involved in leading the service wear distinctive clothes, called vestments, to minimize their individuality and to emphasize that they are there to act as servants.

Children

We worship in a way which is both ordered and inclusive. Our youngest worshippers play a full and active part in our services, including helping lead worship. Children of any age who are baptized are welcome to receive Holy Communion at their parent or guardians discretion.

Communion

All baptized Christians are welcome to receive both bread and wine from the Lord’s Table.
