Christmas Week at Redeemer

Christmas Eve, 5:00pm—A Service of Nine Lessons and Carols

A service of traditional readings and Christmas carols, begun in England in 1880 and popularized during the dark days of post WWl. Over a century later, Lessons and Carols is still retelling the beautiful story of the gospel, a story of light and hope. Immediately following, join us in our Parish Hall for a wine and favorite hors d’ oeuvre reception. Bring a bottle of wine (or other favorite beverage) and favorite hors d’ oeuvre to share—coffee, tea, and water will be provided.

Christmas Day, 11:00am

We will gather on this Principal Feast Day to hear the Word of God, sing, pray, and celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion.

(Nursery and Children’s Formation will not be provided Christmas Eve or Christmas Day)

The First Sunday of Christmas—December 28, 10:00am

Historically, Christmas is both a day and a season. Christmas Day begins “Christmastide”, the twelve days of Christmas concluding January 6th with Epiphany, a Christian feast day celebrating the manifestation of Jesus Christ to the world, symbolized by the visitation of the Magi.

We will gather at 10:00am as usual to once again hear and consider the mystery of the Word becoming flesh from our Gospel reading.

Giving Intentions

As with any household or business, as we approach 2026 it’s necessary to know as much as possible how our Shared Vision* will be supported. So, we’d like you to consider making a good faith commitment of your giving intentions, the Lord being your helper, by Sunday, January 4, 2026.

Though not binding, it will enable our Vestry to better steward an accurate, realistic, and faithful budget that supports what we believe we’re called to as a congregation.

You can make your giving intentions known electronically here. Or pick up a card Sunday!

Thank you!
