All Saints’ Day

All Saints’ Day

There’s much more than Halloween happening this week!

This Friday, November 1st, is The Feast of All Saints, or All Saints’ Day (commemorating those the Church has long recognized as exemplars or martyrs), followed on Saturday by All Souls’ Day (remembering all the faithful departed). These are preceded, of course, by All Hallows Eve, or Halloween on Thursday.

These are important, but often neglected, days in the Church year.

I invite you to commemorate these days with me in a couple of ways:

  • You can read more about them in this helpful article from Anglican Compass. It’s a short but very informative read.

  • Join me for Morning Prayer on Zoom Friday at 8AM (we’ll be finished by 8:30).

I hope you’ll take the time to honor these Feasts.
