How We Worshipped This Week

Last Sunday Fr. Steve asked us to share what we do at 10am during our week. We believe that when we contribute to the good ordering of all things, whatever we do is pleasing to God because it furthers his mission of bringing about the goodness, order, and flourishing of all that he has made.

Take a look in at the photographs (you don’t need a Facebook account to see them!). Some of these things are mundane and some are more eye-catching and exciting, yet all are ways our community serves the purposes of God by loving our neighbors and stewarding the gifts of God’s good creation.

Many of of are about to begin another Academic year, and we want to pray for those who learn and those who educate others, so that they may be assured that what they are doing also participates in God’s good purposes for his world.

September 8 we will be laying hands on those who are about to start another year and afterward we will be having a cook-out. We would also love to share this day with any others who teach or study, so please do pass the invitation on.

See you Sunday,

Ian.
